I don't come across many bands that I feel like sharing with the general public, but sometimes, there are exceptions.

I stumbled upon an Indonesian band that go by the name of Nidji after hearing them on a TV ad, and I must say, I'm pretty impressed.
On their myspace site they list themselves as alternative, but I'm thinking more of an indie/electro .(please keep in mind however I'm not always the best when it comes to differentiating genres.)
With a sound vaguely reminiscent of The Killers and Coldplay combined, their electro tunes are pretty catchy. And i mean fast-to-take-you-to-another-place catchy. I love the electronic sounds of the electric guitar and the keyboard that carry out the melody so... well, melodiously. And the bass accentuates it all just perfectly.
They do both English and Indonesian songs and both of which have the ability to take you to another place in a short expanse of time, especially with the effect-tampered vocals in Heaven. They are muchly appreciated.
Dont get me wrong, even without the effects, the vocalist has a pretty nice, strong voice.
But here's something that showcases how amazing this band is, all complete with a bad-assed music video. I like how its really professional.
If you like them, go check out their other videos as well as their myspace here.
What do you guys think?
Peace be with you,
Wanda
